I haven’t posted in a few days, I spend weekends with the children and I have spent the beginning of the week in prayer for our Nation and the Election. So here is my catch up on what I am thankful for. This weekend I just felt thankful, not for anything really just thankful. I spent Saturday morning on my front porch breathing in the smell of livestock and hay, then spent the day with the children at a horse show. I felt so thankful for weekends and time spent with my children. Sunday, we were blessed with a wood burning heater ( I have been wanting one for a long time.) We took all of the kids to some real country, cow, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, raccoons. It was so much fun to watch the kids enjoy outdoors and playing with all kinds of critters. We have horses and are surrounded by a lot of different livestock, but they don’t get hands on with them, but they really did Sunday. I spent the first part of this week praying for our Nation and the Election, I was hoping Mitt Romney would win, our Nation is slowly falling apart, but he didn’t win, but I am not sad, I am thankful because I believe that God’s people will be more dependent on Him and will draw us into a closer relationship with Him. Today I am thankful for a new day, a day to start fresh, a day with renewed strength and a focused mind. Thank you Jesus, for new mercies every morning !
Today I am filled with love, love for a man that loved me enough to give his life for me so that I can live. Jesus lay His life down on a cross, so I could have life eternal. I am so thankful for my Jesus and His love.
